Unpacking Sexism in Spirituality

This workshop will teach you to recognize patriarchal, gendered and sexist messaging packaged as "divine" in spiritual communities. By drawing on queer & trans theorists, you will be equipped to question the gender discourse currently dominantly used in spiritual spaces and can start challenging dualistic thinking.

You'll also learn about gender & sex being socially constructed and how to respond to the biological determinism argument. (And it's ok if this sentence doesn't entirely make sense, you'll come out of the workshop knowing exactly what that means).

This is a beginner and introductory course open to the general public.
